Who hasn’t lost something once? It is not uncommon for bags to be forgotten on the bus or for mobile phones and keys to fall out of your pocket while sitting on the bus, but if you lose them, you can sometimes be in big trouble. But don’t worry: many of the lost items are found and returned by attentive passengers or the drivers themselves.
In the network of the VHH
In case of loss in the VHH transport network (silver public buses), please contact the Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein (VHH) directly. All lost property will be registered and stored there. Please call the VHH customer service directly at +49 (0)40 / 725 94 155 or send an e-mail to fundsachen@vhhbus.de. You can reach the VHH customer service from Monday to Friday from 9 – 11 o’clock and 14 – 16.30 o’clock.
In the network of Autokraft
In case of loss in the Autokraft transport network (blue public buses), please contact our depot in Schwarzenbek directly. All lost property will be registered there and kept by us for three months. You can reach the Schwarzenbek depot from Mon. to Fri. from 9 – 12 o’clock under phone +49 (0) 41 51 / 20 790 10.
The lost property will be handed over to you against a description of special features. You can either pick up the object you lost in person or have it sent to you by post at a charge for postage and packing.
